History on the Flint

On Monday, my group went to Mr. Kenneth Deese's RV Park on the Flint River. He showed us some amazing artifacts that really opened my eyes to the actual history in our hometown. One of the most interesting things Mr. Deese showed us was this giant claw/toenail! It was huge and pretty creepy. He said he wasn't sure what it was, but he thought it was either a giant bird talon or a huge raptor like from Jurassic Park. It was really neat! He also showed us a giant aquatic vertebrae.
