Flint River Project

An immersive authentic educational project by Westwood Schools in Camilla, GA US

On day three my group went with Mrs. Betty and we went on a hike and studied trees. We learned a lot about trees that day because some of the trees we could not even identify. But luckily Mrs.Betty knew what kind they were and she told us and know we know to. We also found some animal tracks and some homes of other animals. Then we found where some animal had made a weird track and tried to identify it and we never could. We came back and got on her Mule and rode around and looked at more trees and shrubs, we identified some new trees and took pictures. Then we found some wildlife such as two turkeys, and a dead hawk hanging in a tree. We took some pictures of the animals and brought them back to another group that needed the pictures. Then we loaded up and came back to the school and went and classified and identified all of the samples we took
